Dr. Patrick Hung

Ontario Tech University, Canada

Dr. Patrick Hung previously worked with Boeing Research and Technology in Seattle, Washington on aviation services-related research projects. He has two U.S. patents on the Mobile Network Dynamic Workflow Exception Handling System with Boeing in the U.S. He currently works with the College of Technological Innovation at Zayed University​ on several smart city and cybersecurity research projects in the United Arab Emirates. He is also a Visiting Researcher at the University of São Paulo, Brazil and National Technological University (UTN)-Santa Fe, Argentina.


Dr. Hung was a Research Scientist with the Commonwealth Scientific and Industrial Research Organization (CSIRO) in Canberra, Australia. He also has prior industrial experience in e-business projects in North America and Hong Kong. He is a founding member of the Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers (IEEE) Computer Society Technical Committee on Services Computing and related conferences.


Dr. Francisco Javier Álvarez Rodríguez

Autonomous University of Aguascalientes, Mexico

Francisco Javier Álvarez Rodríguez received the Doctorate degree in computer science, the Inter-Institutional Doctorate degree in science, the Master of Science degree in mathematics and computing, the Doctor degree in teaching methodology from IMEP, Mexico, and the Doctor of Engineering degree from UNAM, Mexico. He has been the Dean of the Center for Basic Sciences, Autonomous University of Aguascalientes (UAA), and the Head of the Department of Electronic Systems. He is currently a Professor of software engineering with the Department of Computer Science, UAA.


He is a member of the academic nuclei of various postgraduate courses of UAA. He is the author of books and articles on the line learning objects and software development processes. He is a member of the National System of Researchers (SNI) and research groups at the international level. He is currently the President of the National Council for Accreditation of Informatics and Computing Programs, A.C.


Dr. María Dolores Lozano Pérez

University of Castilla-La Mancha, Spain

Prof. María Dolores Lozano is Full Professor at the Department of Computing Systems of the University of Castilla-La Mancha in Albacete since 2003. She received her M.Sc. and PhD degrees in Computer Science from the Technical University of Valencia, Spain. She co-leads the Interactive Systems Engineering (ISE) Research Group of the Albacete Research Institute of Informatics. She has served as the coordinator of the bilingual program of the Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science and Engineering at the School of Computer Science and Engineering in the Campus of Albacete from 2013 until 2021.


Her teaching and research areas involve Software Engineering and Human Computer Interaction. She has authored more than 100 papers in journals, book chapters and international conferences. She has been guest editor of several special issues in journals indexed in the Journal Citation Report. She has co-chaired several technical conference programs in the field of human-computer interaction and served as program committee chair in national and international conferences. Her research interests include interactive systems development, distributed and tangible user interfaces, Natural User Interfaces and ubiquitous computing.
